Platform Rules for Organisers

Responsibilities for events, tickets, memberships, websites and communications.

Organiser responsibility

BOOYAKKA supplies software. The organiser remains responsible for its organisation, events, venue, memberships, staff, customers and legal compliance.

Events and venues

Organisers must obtain necessary permissions, licences, insurance and risk controls, including health and safety, safeguarding, capacity, accessibility, age restrictions, alcohol or entertainment licensing and local authority requirements.

Tickets and refunds

Organisers must describe events accurately, honour valid tickets, state any lawful event refund terms and communicate cancellations or material changes promptly. BOOYAKKA is not responsible for event quality, cancellation, performer conduct or venue conditions unless it is expressly identified as the organiser.

Memberships and communications

Organisers decide membership eligibility and benefits and must use member and subscriber data lawfully. Marketing communications require an appropriate lawful basis and compliance with electronic marketing rules.

Websites and content

Organisers must own or have permission to use uploaded text, photographs, logos, video and other material and must keep public information accurate.
