Subscription Terms

Trials, recurring billing, renewals, cancellation and failed payments.

Version 1.0Effective 1 August 2026Last updated 22 July 2026

Trials

A trial lasts for the period shown during signup, commonly 7 or 14 days. Where payment details are collected, the subscription automatically becomes paid at the end of the trial unless cancelled before the stated deadline.

For 7-day and 14-day trials, BOOYAKKA intends to send service reminders 3 days before, 2 days before, on the expiry date and after expiry. Emails are a courtesy safeguard: the customer remains responsible for checking the Billing page and cancelling before the charge date. Failure or non-receipt of a reminder does not itself cancel a subscription.

Recurring plans

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. The price, billing interval, included limits and next charge date are displayed during checkout and in billing records.

Cancellation

Customers may cancel through the Billing page or Stripe Customer Portal where available. Cancellation must be completed before the next charge is processed. Unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the current trial or paid billing period.

Annual plans

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance. Cancellation normally prevents the next annual renewal and does not create a right to a pro-rata refund for the remaining current term, except where required by law or expressly agreed by BOOYAKKA.

Failed payments

We may retry payment, request an updated payment method, restrict paid features or suspend the account after reasonable notice. Amounts already due remain payable.

Plan changes

Upgrades may take effect immediately and may be charged on a prorated basis. Downgrades normally take effect at the next renewal and may remove features or reduce limits. Customers should export or adjust data before a downgrade where necessary.
