Roles
BOOYAKKA acts as controller for its own customer accounts, billing, security, support and business operations. It generally acts as processor for personal information that customer organisations enter and manage through the platform.
Processing instructions
When acting as processor, BOOYAKKA processes personal information only on documented customer instructions, including the instructions inherent in normal use of the service, unless law requires otherwise.
Sub-processors
Service providers may include Stripe for payments, Brevo for email delivery, DigitalOcean for hosting, Cloudflare for network and security services, Laravel Forge for server management and Tawk.to for customer support where enabled. This list must be reviewed against the live production configuration before publication and whenever suppliers change.
Security and assistance
We apply proportionate security measures, restrict access, support customers with rights requests and incident enquiries, and require appropriate terms from providers. Customers remain responsible for configuring access, collecting information lawfully and responding to individuals as controller.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where restricted transfers occur, we use recognised safeguards as appropriate, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
